3 Healthy Popsicle Recipes
Summer is officially here!
And popsicles are officially on the menu!
These popsicle recipes are full of protein, fiber, electrolytes, good fats, slow carbohydrates from fruit and taste like skinny dipping on vacation. So, you can feel really good about eating these on the hottest days of summer instead of maybe lunch...occasionally. Also, these make amazing pre or post workout snacks, snacks for the kids, (obviously you won't be able to keep them out of their hands, once they discover them) and even a great addition to summer events, barbecues and parties. Yep. Stick them in a big, decorative bucket full of ice and you'll quickly become the favorite invite.
In this post, I've included a few different recipes, the Frozen Margarita is exactly what it sounds like, tequila totally optional. Blueberry Chia is like a tasting morning smoothie on a stick...so good.
If you don't have popsicle molds just use any small container, fill and then add wooden popsicle sticks to the middle. I've used everything from cake pop molds, recycled yogurt cups to full on rocket popsicle molds. Get creative, but use what you have! Also, as with all my recipes these are very versatile and if you don't have an ingredient, check the substitutions + tips section to see what to substitute, replace, add, etc. to any recipe including these bad boy popsicles. Printable is always the button below the recipes. I hope you love them!
